VET STUDENT LOAN

VET Student Loans are a loan from the Australian Government that help students pay for their education and training.

PAYMENT PLAN

If you have difficulty paying the full cost of a course up front, you might be eligible for a payment plan. This will allow you to pay for your course in instalments, rather than one upfront payment at the time of enrolment.

HECS-HELP

HECS-HELP is an interest-free loan from the Australian Government that helps you pay for higher education qualifications, such as associate degrees or bachelor degrees. TAFE Queensland Brisbane receives the full loan amount for your course directly from the Government, and you repay your loan through the Australian taxation system once your income reaches a certain threshold.

COMMONWEALTH SUPPORTED PLACE

The Australian Government subsidises some students' university fees, which makes the cost for those students much lower.  If you receive the subsidised fee rate you are known as a Commonwealth Supported Student (CSS), or as holding a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP).

Additional costs

All students are required to pay a Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF).

Students can access a range of print, copy, scan and fax services via MyPrint.
