Entry requirements

The Bachelor of Applied Management through Federation University contains 24 courses/units, with the first two years of the degree (16 courses/units) being earned from Credit transferred from completing a diploma, advanced diploma and applicable prior professional/industry experience. TAFE Queensland Brisbane delivers the third and final year of this bachelor degree with students expected to complete the remaining 8 eight courses/units.

The entry requirements for this degree at TAFE Queensland Brisbane's South Bank campus requires the eligibility to credit these first 2 years using the below criteria in order to enrol into the third and final year:

Year 1 (through Credit Transfer from):

  • A completed diploma in any field, although a diploma in a related field (for example business, information technology, hospitality, dental technology, project management, etc.) may be useful

Year 2 (through Credit Transfer from):

Students without completed qualifications but possess industry skills, knowledge and experience are highly recommended to contact Recognition of Prior Learning.

Annual Indicative Cost

The Annual Indicative cost is the fee that applies to a standard full-time enrolment, which is 24 credit points. For more information about HECS-HELP visit Study Assist.

STUDY NOW, PAY LATER

HECS-HELP is an interest-free loan from the Australian Government that helps you pay for higher education qualifications, such as associate degrees or bachelor degrees.

TAFE Queensland Brisbane receives the full loan amount for your course directly from the Government, and you repay your loan through the Australian taxation system once your income reaches a certain threshold.

You are eligible for HECS-HELP if you:

  • are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa
  • are enrolled in an associate degree or above on, or before the census date
  • have not exceeded the HECS-HELP limit
  • have an AustralianTax File Number (TFN) or Certificate of Application for a TFN.
