Annual Indicative Cost

The annual indicative cost is the fee that applies to a standard full-time enrolment, which is 24 credit points. For more information about FEE-HELP visit Study Assist.

FEE-HELP is an interest-free loan from the Australian Government that helps you pay for higher education qualifications, such as associate degrees or bachelor degrees.

TAFE Queensland Brisbane receives the full loan amount for your course directly from the Government, and you repay your loan through the Australian taxation system once your income reaches a certain threshold.

You are eligible for FEE-HELP if you:

  • are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa
  • are enrolled in an associate degree or above on, or before the census date
  • have not exceeded the FEE-HELP limit
  • have an AustralianTax File Number (TFN) or Certificate of Application for a TFN.

More information about FEE-HELP visit Study Assist.

Payment Plan

If you have difficulty paying the full cost of a course up front you might be eligible for a payment plan. This will allow you to pay for your course in instalments, rather than one upfront payment at the time of enrolment.

The Queensland Government will offset the cost of study for eligible students. You will still need to pay for a portion of your study costs. The amount above is what you will need to pay.

You are eligible for the concession price of a course if you are eligible for subsidised training, and are listed on an Australian Government Low Income Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you hold a Department of Veterans' Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, or if you have a disability. Further information about concessions.
