Join us in celebrating your academic achievements at TAFE Queensland Brisbane's graduation ceremony.
Your invitation is the key to getting the excitement of graduation started.
Eligible students will receive an invitation email from TAFE Queensland the week starting 3 July 2017. To be eligible, you must have completed all requirements of your course and received your official award in the post.
This email will contain a personal code specifically for the registration of you and your guests please do not forward this on to any other completing students. Online registration must be completed via the link in your email invitation by, 5pm, Friday 28 July. No online registration means no attending Graduation.
If you are expecting to graduate and have yet to receive your email please contact the Customer Service Centre on 13 72 48 today to verify your eligibility.
Your official certificate/award will be posted to you. The certificate received on Graduation day is commemorative only.
To complete the online registration please have your student identification number handy. If you don't know your student ID number, please call our customer service team on 13 72 48.
You must include your Unique Student Identifier (USI) number as part of your registration, if you do not have a USI you cannot attend Graduation. The USI number is a requirement under Commonwealth Government legislation. Find out more about the USI number.
Students graduating from a Higher Education (Degree) course at TAFE Queensland Brisbane must use the USI code:HE2017.
Your friends and family are invited to join in and celebrate your achievements too. Guest tickets are capped due to venue restrictions. Each student can bring 3 guests. If someone else is registering and buying tickets on your behalf, please make sure they book all tickets under your name.
Graduand Tickets: $55 (gowning included)
Guest Tickets: $15 (per guest; children under 3 are free)
Our upcoming graduation ceremonies will take place at Edmund Rice Performing Arts Centre, located just a stone's throw from South Bank. The centre has a wealth of parking and is readily accessible by public transport.
Click here for full information on how best to get there.
Once you arrive you will be directed to our gowning area. Here you show the student card handed to you at the registration desk (keep hold of this!), and have your gown fitted. This gown will be matched to the level of your qualification and the height details provided when you first registered.
We want your big day to go off without a hitch, so a quick and fun rehearsal is a must. Before the actual ceremony, all students will be called into the venue for a full rundown of the event, including where to sit, walking across the stage, on-stage photography and more. Please be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for when we call you in this must-attend session held approximately an hour before the ceremony on the day.
Your friends and family will have a comfortable place to eat, drink and mingle while you are gowned or in rehearsal. This will be clearly sign posted and will be where you can find them if and when you want to grab photos before the ceremony.
We suggest that if you can that you pass on your phone or anything else onto them or place it into the cloakroom as soon possible.
A professional photographer will be on site to take quality photos of you and your guests before and after the ceremony.
