Student ID card

Your student ID card

Your VIP pass, also known as your student ID, will gain you backstage access to many TAFE Queensland resources and facilities. But most importantly it will qualify you for many discounts across the city, including discount public transport, cheap movie tickets and theme park entry.

You'll need to show it when:

  • requested by a security officer
  • borrowing books
  • sitting exams

Where do I get my student ID card?

If you're at any campus besides South Bank, just drop in and visit the friendly folk at customer service and they'll made an ID for you. You can find them with a campus map.

Because South Bank is such a huge beast, ID card sessions run on a timetable.

The only thing we need is some current photo identification and confirmation of your enrolment, and we'll whip you up one on the spot.

International students will need to bring current photo identification, as well the student I.D. voucher received at your commencement session.

Note: Your first student ID card is free. Replacements will be made for a fee. Ask customer service for details.
