Orientation schedules

Semester 1 2018 Orientation schedules are here! Find the link that fits with your chosen campus to for your campus  find your specific course orientation session date and time. These sessions are a great opportunity to get to know your teachers, meet your classmates and tour the campus before study starts. You'll find out what you need to bring to class and have plenty of time to relax and socialise during the break-out sessions.

International student orientation Semester 1 2018

International students can access their international orientation on the TAFE Queensland International website.

Online student orientation on Connect

New students have access to the online student orientation on Connect. If you need help, check out the Ready to Connect (PDF, 169KB) fact sheet.

Finding your class timetable

You can find your timetable here - simple!

Check your registration pack for your timetable grouping.

Base camp

Beat the queues at the Customer Service Centre and head to Base Camp!
A Base Camp will be at every campus during Orientation and at South Bank Campus for the first week of study. If you have a technical problem and need to speak to a human, Base Camp is where it's at.

Visit Base Camp if you need to:

  • print your timetable
  • check your timetable grouping
  • print your confirmation of enrolment - you'll need this to get your student ID card
  • get your Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • update your details or register for online services
  • locate your classroom
