TAFE worked for Debbie

TAFE apprentice Debbie Before Debbie started her Diploma of Management traineeship, she was working in the role of Warehouse and Logistics Manager, but felt she needed more theory behind her to understand why she did the things she did.

"With the support of my employer and government funding, I was able to undertake the traineeship," said Debbie. "I now feel more confident in moving up the management ladder and have a clear overview on how to undertake my role".

It worked for Brendan too

Brendan was a Turf Management apprentice. The personal goals he has achieved since completing his training include a workplace promotion from apprentice to tradesperson. Brendan is now in charge of the grounds and sports facilities at a large regional grammar school.

"Through my apprenticeship, I learned to understand turf grass health, soil water requirements and preparation techniques," Brendan said. "The lessons were taught with such clarity, I was easily able to put what I learned into practice".
